Schoolkids learn with Nintendo Published: 23 May 2008
A JUNIOR school has become the first in the country to use Nintendo games to teach kids. Pupils were given handheld consoles which they use for 20 minutes a day.
The games test mental agility with maths puzzles and logic games.
Teacher Dawn Hallybone, of Oakdale School, in South Woodford, Essex, said: “Their progress is amazing — and they work in silence.”
The consoles will be passed on to other schools.
