Wal-Mart To Offer $100 Gift Card With 40GB PS3 Purchase

Ooooh, deals! Everybody likes a good sales deal, and while they usually drop in around the holidays, it seems Wal-Mart will be offering a seriously big bonus for anybody who picks up a PlayStation 3 during the first week of June.
If you check out this thread over at the PS3Forums, you'll notice that Wal-Mart will hand out a $100 Blu-Ray gift card when you purchase a 40GB PS3 between June 1 and June 7. Now, we're not entirely sure if a "Blu-Ray" gift card limits your buying to Blu-Ray movies or games, but it's still $100 worth of stuff...who's going to refuse that? Considering we're a ways away from Christmas, this may be one of the best deals you can find, unless you're planning to pick up one of those snazzy Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 bundles. Of course, you have to bear in mind that you're not getting a hundred bucks off your purchase, but you should be able to pick up a couple new games and only have to pay about $30 total. And by now, the PS3 has been out long enough where you'll have plenty of great options for those two games.
This hasn't been officially confirmed and probably won't be until that leaked flyer comes out for the Memorial Day weekend. But we see no reason to disbelieve this one.
